Endoscopy Unit

At our Endoscopy Unit, organs and body cavities are examined in detail using specialized imaging equipment.

Endoscopic procedures are performed using flexible or specially designed endoscopes equipped with a camera and light source at the tip. Depending on the type of procedure and the area to be examined, the endoscope is advanced through the mouth, nose, anus, or another appropriate anatomical route to obtain detailed images.

In addition to diagnostic purposes, endoscopic procedures may also allow tissue biopsies and, when medically indicated, certain therapeutic interventions. Endoscopic methods, particularly those used to evaluate the gastrointestinal system as well as various other organs and anatomical regions, contribute to the early and accurate assessment of diseases.

At our Endoscopy Unit, organs and body cavities—particularly the digestive system—are evaluated using specialized endoscopic imaging equipment. During diagnostic procedures, biopsies and tissue sampling can also be performed when medically indicated.

Endoscopic procedures are carried out by a team of specialist physicians and experienced healthcare professionals in accordance with applicable medical standards and patient safety principles.
